Church Province Silesia
Church Province Brandenburg (Neumark)
You can find the documents you are searching for HERE, and make a note of the location. It is in the German language, but by identifying the town you should not have difficulty. "Verfilmung" means that the registers have been microfilmed. You need this site to determine 1) the name of the town, 2) the name of the district (county), and 3) the Prussian province, since so many locations have the same name. Staff will not research without this information, plus date of birth and type of document (birth, baptism or christening, marriage, death). English language description of the types of documents available for these provinces, and the Staff E-Mail address. Brief English language inquiry okay. See ./email-format.htm. Your ancestry MUST be from one of the identified provinces. You CANNOT ask IF they were. You must know that in advance.
If you don't have access to the above-mentioned catalog you can send an E-Mail to red100@nexgo.de. He will do a lookup in the parish registers identified by you, free of charge, if you KNOW the correct location as discovered in the catalog. He must have the place and type of record (e.g.: birth, christening, marriage or death) you are searching for. The place should be identified as it was in 1912, by parish (church) and governmental-district (political).
If you can`t search on your own in the EZA, you CANNOT commission him to search for you. He provides this service privately, in his spare time. You can only search in parish books which were written before the year 1908. The reason is data privacy.
